Nickname: Maddy Story: Four days after losing my diabetic 12 year-old pug-buddy, I was encouraged by family to look into adoption. I saw this black pug called Gidget. She was underweight, about 10 pounds, and her coat was in terrible condition from flea infestation. Fortunately she was heartworm free. She was very shy and shook when someone just tried petting her. I renamed her Madeline, nicknamed her Maddy, which she quickly accepted as her name. Have had her on Flint River and as can be seen, she has done quite well.
