Wild Weiner at 7 Years

Far-ful at 9 Years

Wild Weiner
Breed: Labrador Retriever/Basset HoundWeight: 51 pounds
Gender: Female
Favorite Food: She loves Flint River Ranch food a little more than the birds, but you would have to ask her yourself.
Favorite Activities: Wild Weiner's favorite activity is catching birds, mice, and squirrels, but when she brings them to the door, they are alive and I tell her to let them go and usually she does.
Special Skills or Responsibilities: Wild Weiner is my service dog and also a therapy dog. We go to the hospital every Wednesday to the spinal cord unit and talk with new patients and let them know all the sports that are available.
She is my constant companion and best friend, and I sure do love her.

Breed: Basset HoundGender: Female
Favorite Food: She loves Flint River Ranch DryWater food.
Story: Far-ful is named after the old Nestle's commercial. I rescued her from the Berea, Ohio, pound. She had been badly abused. A cigarette lighter from a car had burned the top of her head and she still has the scar to prove it. She was kicked and used for breeding purposes. She did not trust us at first, but with love and care she now loves us.

She is a bit crabby when she wakes up, but that is what I love about her personality. She comes to work with me and sits looking like only a Basset Hound can, and watches the people. She is beautiful and I love her.
