Takin' a Nap in the Garden Penny at 2 Years Playing with a Bully Stick Penny Weight: 22 pounds Gender: Female Favorite Food: Penny just started on Flint River Ranch Puppy and Adult and LOVES it! She also likes broccoli, carrots, peas, salad, and chicken. Favorite Activities: We hike in the open space a lot with friends, Penny loves the freedom of being off-lead. Just last month she took her first dive ever into a pond and decided water is cool! Favorite Place to Sleep: Penny has a dog bed that looks like a (small) people chaise lounge. Special Skills or Responsibilities: Penny's special "skill" is to make people happy; she loves people and makes sure she greets them all. Story: I was showing my sister ARF, a local pet rescue, and had NO intention of getting a dog. I made eye contact with Penny and suddenly found myself the very happy owner of the sweetest dog I've ever known. ARF had found her at a kill shelter with a 24 hour put down notice on her cage and rescued her. She had kennel cough so she was kept in quarantine for two weeks while being treated and spayed.
