He knows that he gets this treat each day when I leave for work. He is also rewarded with this treat when he answers a whistle to come into the house. Favorite Activities: He likes to be outside in the backyard and spends hours with me in my gardens. He learned very quickly to stay in his own yard and even visits with the neighbor's dogs as they go by on walks. He loves to sit and watch the birds and squirrels that visit the feeders in the yard as well. Favorite Place to Sleep: He sleeps at the foot of my bed at night. Special Skills or Responsibilities: He is a great "talker" and has me trained to open doors to rooms that "need to be explored" or to let me know that it is time to play string or any other number of games that cats like to play. Story: I adopted Rocky for myself on my birthday in 2005. He had been "dumped" at a local Humane Society and had been there for awhile. I picked him out on the Internet site for the shelter, scheduled a time to meet him, and then couldn't leave the shelter without him! As you can see from the photos he likes to be around me when I am outside (playing in the vines), working a jigsaw puzzle (sleeping in the box) or putting away the groceries (resting in the bag). He follows me like a shadow most of the time. We have now had 2 1/2 years together and look forward to many more.
