Toby at 3 Months

Honey at 6 Years

Sittin' Pretty

Breed: Cocker Spaniel (American)/PoodleWeight: 14 pounds
Gender: Female
Favorite Food: She eats Flint River Ranch Puppy and Adult Dog Food. I started Honey on it about 6 months ago.
Favorite Activities: Honey has been competing in flyball for about 2 years. She is a Flyball Master Champion (FMCh). She and I are also training in agility.
Story: Both my dogs are rescues. Honey was a rescue from Operation Kindness, a no-kill shelter in Dallas. She was a year and a half when I adopted her. Honey was the first dog I had ever had. She had come from a rough background growing up with small children and didn't get as much attention as she needed. She was obviously mistreated and still does not trust strangers.

I got her into flyball to give her and me something to do together. She picked it up so quickly and we were hooked. She is unique to flyball because you don't see much of her breed combination and she is much more laid back than most of the dogs out there. By learning flyball we have learned obedience and found a connection with dog and handler that we never had before.

Introducing her younger brother has been a big transition for Honey. Although she is still the dominant dog, she must now share my attention.

Breed: Border CollieWeight: 16 pounds
Gender: Male
Favorite Food: He eats Flint River Ranch Puppy and Adult Dog Food.
Favorite Activities: Toby is still learning to be a polite dog. He has learned to sit, down, wave, spin right and left, and miscellaneous house manners. If he wants to, he will have the option to play flyball and agility too. Right now his favorite thing to do is tug and play Frisbee.
