Favorite Activities: Running in wide open spaces, being a social butterfly. Favorite Place to Sleep: Queen Size bed during the day; his dog bed at night. Special Skills or Responsibilities: Sleeping, eating, and running with squeaky toys. He's also a Therapy dog. Story: We got Maverick when he was about one year old from the Golden Retriever Rescue. He came for a visit and sat right down on a dog bed. That was it. He stayed. Within a month or two I knew he was a Therapy Dog candidate. Several months later, we were visiting acute psych units and some nursing homes. He's been across country twice and loved it. He's been to more national monuments than most people.
