Chillin' on the Couch Barclay at 8 Years Barclay Breed: Wire Fox Terrier Weight: 21 pounds Gender: Male Favorite Food: He loves his Flint River Ranch Original Puppy and Adult Kibble Dog Food! Favorite Activities: He loves to go for walks and accompany me to work every day where he interacts with the other employees and the other work dog, a Rhodesian Ridgeback. Also enjoys spending time with the two Akitas and one cat that live downstairs from him. Favorite Place to Sleep: He sleeps on his 'Perch'... a blanket covered pillow on the couch. It was the first place he curled up after he was brought home from the rescue shelter. Story: Barclay was adopted in 2005 from the Northern California Fox Terrier Rescue Shelter. He was an abuse/neglect victim that had been turned back into the shelter by his first adoptive family for aggressive tendencies. It took a year of positive reinforcement and love to get him over his negative issues, and he's become a very sweet boy. But he is still a terrier, through and through.
