Nigel (left) and Tobias
At 3 Years

Breed: Domestic Longhair CatGender: Male
Story: Tobias and Nigel were both adopted from a rescue organization in Berkeley. Tobias was kidnapped (catnapped?) a few months after I adopted him and driven out of this county and dumped in the woods where the only facility nearby was a Shakespeare Festival company. Apparently, he was attracted by the voices, and was adopted by the actors. They fed him; however, he remained outside with coyotes and other wildlife for over a month. At the end of their season, the Company drove him to Berkeley in order to place him in the only non-kill shelter in the vicinity. The shelter folks read his microchip and we were reunited. Needless to say, Toby, Nigel, and I feel overjoyed to have this gentle giant back.

Breed: Domestic Shorthair CatGender: Male
Story: Since he was very young, Nigel has brought me a variety of material items: leaves, a black shoulder pad, balls, a Spiderman cape (4 feet long), work gloves, and an industrial sponge, to name a few. In order to get them into the house, he has to carry them through two cat doors. I always welcome his treasures!
