Story: Nat and Ana are brother and sister, but look quite different. I adopted Nat and Ana in June, 2008, when they were 3 months old. Their mother was Suzy, an abandoned cat who was taken in by my friend, Marie-Claire, from an alley on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. Having lost my Schubert in September, 2007, I wasn’t planning to adopt any more cats. But the photos of Suzy’s litter were so cute that I asked for Nat, the champagne-colored cat. Then Marie-Claire told me that Nat had a best friend in the litter, a tiger-stripe whom I named Ana. |
