Vida at 6 Years

Breed: Yorkshire TerrierGender: Female
Favorite Food: Her favorite foods are vegetables, green beans, peas, cauliflower, asparagus, carrots, and broccoli mixed in with her Flint River food.
Favorite Activities: Vida likes to be carried around in a baby sling. She also likes to travel.
Story: Vida (which means "life" in Spanish) was named that because we lost our first Yorkie to a rattlesnake. We were devastated and never wanted to have another dog. We saw an ad for her in the paper; she captured our hearts, and we brought her home on Halloween almost 8 years ago. She gave my husband and me "Life" again.

We call her the "antique show" dog because she goes to all my antique vending shows and she loves all the attention as everyone wants to pet her, feed her, or hold her.

She is a Yorkie who has never had sweeping long hair and we keep it trimmed to resemble a Lion's Head.

She is a very well behaved little girl, very quiet, and so sweet.

People have said she looks like a stuffed animal in the carrier. She also reminds people of an Ewok or Teddy Bear.
