Jacob (left) and Talitha

Breed: Labrador RetrieverGender: Male
Story: As you can see, Jacob is more than a pet. We adopted him from a rescue agency about a year and a half ago. The first time our vet saw him, she suggested that I train him as my service dog (I have multiple sclerosis). I knew there was a reason why God wanted me to have this particular dog. Now I know the reason. So, you see, he deserves the best!

Breed: Greyhound/Siberian HuskyGender: Female
Story: Talitha means "little girl" in Aramaic, but she outgrew her name a long time ago! She was bred as a sled dog (Greyhound for speed, Husky for stamina). That didn't work out and she was essentially abandoned (crated with no attention and little food) by her original people. When she was taken into rescue at 10 months old, she weighed 19 pounds. She's responded well to regular meals and lots of love, and play time with Jacob, of course.
